On the weekend of April 15 and 16, 2023, the Brique Valais took place in Fully. We arrived on April 14 after school so that I could set up my exhibits in time. Arrived in Fully, most of the colleagues from Swisslug were already there and I found my corner to set up the homebuilts. However, the corner was a bit tight and I had to experiment a bit to fit everything in.

In the end it looked pretty good though. Over the corner the Avatar sets and at the end the two ClassicSpace models:

As already announced, I moved away from the “Space” theme a bit this time and based various scenes on the Avatar sets:

Site 26

Diorama based on the LEGO Avatar set 75573 “Hovering Mountains: Site 26 and RDA Samson”. Depicted is a scene when an SA-2 Samson is on approach to land at Site 26.

The Resources Development Administration, or RDA, is an Earth-based military-industrial organization that holds a monopoly on the exploitation of the moon Pandora.

Thanator vs Quaritch

Diorama based on the LEGO Avatar set 75571 “Neytiri and Thanator vs. Quaritch in the MPA”.

The Thanator (Na’vi: Palulukan) is one of Pandora’s largest and most dangerous land predators. The thanator, like most of Pandora’s more highly evolved animals, is a hexapod. The four forelimbs are paired. The musculature is strongly developed.

Vitraya Ramunong

Diorama based on LEGO Avatar sets 75574 “Toruk Makto and the Tree of Souls” and set 75572 “Jake and Neytiri’s First Flight on a Banshee”.

The Tree of Souls (Na’vi: Vitraya Ramunong) is a tree on Pandora and the most sacred place of the Na’vi. The Na’vi worship the Tree of Souls as their most sacred place.

The Way of the Water

The diorama combines LEGO Avatar sets 75575 Discovery of Ilu, set 75576 Skimwing Adventure, set 75577 Mako Submarine, set 75578 The Reef of Metkayina and set 75579 Payakan the Tulkun and Crab Suit.

Conclusion

The exhibition was a lot of fun and there were really some nice models to see, extremely versatile and very enjoyable. Besides the exhibition we made some trips to the surrounding area and did some sightseeing.
