After the summer vacations I plan to participate in a total of 3 more exhibitions:
BriXpo Uster 2023
The BriXpo in Uster will take place from August 25-27 at the Zeughaus Uster. On Friday, August 25, the gates of the Zeughaus Uster will open for all friends of model building with bricks. We are still looking for motivated helpers who can imagine helping out on one of the three days or just for a few hours to ensure that the exhibition runs smoothly. At the BriXpo, I will only be present with my Avatar dioramas. I had actually saved a new space MOC for the SteinCHenwelt, but for various reasons, that will not take place this year.
Chilbi Wiesendangen
From October 7-8, the Chilbi Wiesendangen, well known especially to the people of eastern Switzerland, will take place again. Now it is definite that SwissLUG will be there again with an exhibition. There will be at least 240 m2 available for models.
At the Chilbi I plan to show the space station, the LD spaceship and a new space base. I will not show the avatar sets at the Chilbi, they will be used at the next exhibition.
SteineWerk Winterthur
On Friday (11am-8pm) and Saturday (9am-6pm), November 24 & 25, Andreas Krähenbühl, Reto Zanotta, Daniel Augsburger and I are organizing the exhibition SteineWerk 2023 at the Lokwerk Winterthur (Zürcherstr. 51). This exhibition will deal with the themes of winter, Christmas, festivities, snowy planets and sliding locomotives.
In the exhibition store of SteineWerk 2023 there will also be (original & refurbished) sets, rarities and minifigures matching the exhibition theme. The opening hours of the exhibition are linked to the business hours of the Lokwerk, the setup times are still being clarified.
At SteineWerk I will probably show the avatar sets, the new space MOC and possibly the space station as well as the original Death Star (maybe with lighting) ….
